I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...getting in and out of the Boss wasn't as bad as i thought it would be............what I enjoyed in between was magical!!!!!!!!....I almost forgot how sweet (mean) that Boss can sound!!!!!!!!!!!!.....I'm back boys..........this ends the mission....I'm BACK..

So have you gotten down the road a couple of times by now, as even a short drive is sweet after surgery on knees, ankles , hips , etc.

I am amazed at how crazy it is that all your fun, wacky, philosophical, nutty, musical, and downright confusing ( haha ) posts are approaching 275,000 views. Yes, Bob, it won't be long any you will have 300,000 views on your Tons of Posts, so your own little way your mellow meanderings have brought a little light and humor into the lives of many. Sure plenty of the stuff is darn near non sensical, but the beauty of that is we all share your little quips and wonder what our Mustang Maniac friend is thinking each day. You are a pleasant pause in a World where too many folks worry about the little things that honestly have no real effect on their personal lives and a brief respite with ole 302Bob makes one sit back and laugh, question or simply stop and relax. Keep up the good work , my friend and in your own way you have touched many lives in so many ways.

300,000 views is not that far away ---------unreal!

Thanks Bill.............I just call "em as I see "em and the rest just falls into place............most of the time............... Hon took me down to the DMV today to get my handicap tag. Going to the DMV is by appointment only these days, so even tho I had the form from the Doc 5/24, today was the first open appt date. I wonder how many other Bosses have a handicap tag hanging from the rear view mirror?

Dragoon makes me feel better about my new handicap tag....I bet a lot of people would think twice about seeing a bright orange Boss 302 parked in a handicap spot......To all those folks......limp hobble.whatever a few steps in my shoes and then climb aboard...............I rather not need this handicap tag than have to use it.........trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One last thought about some stuff right now.........I'm a lot older than when I bought my Boss with my allocation back in 2011....older, and happier, not very much wiser,......Boss ownership is a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!...I'm not the same person I was in 2011, but at least I can still enjoy driving the Boss...........just remember Boys.......The good times don't last forever...............not words of doom by any means just words to the wise................................................................

I haven't ventured out on my own yet ( the Boss ride don't count) and to tell you all the truth........I'M SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....getting around the house with all my toys keeps me safe and secure, but the real world is a whole other story.My first adventure will be to get gas in the Boss...........Son must have not noticed the gauge was near EMPTY!!!!!!!!!! I'll use my cane for that mission......BTW, I got a 4 wheel walker from Walmart to replace the wheelchair I was using on the main level (living room/kitchen).......The Boys will like that...They hated grandpa trying to run over them with that chair.........

Just remember that socks only in the house are like bald tires !!
My couple times out in the beginning were co-piloted with my paddock queen, just to be sure. That first solo outing, yeah, can be nerve racking but your muscle memory will kick in and away you go !!

Beautiful Saturday here in Ct. for Son's best friends wedding.......sun wall to wall!!!!!!!!!!!!...dew points low 50's...chance of rain none, chance of fun 100%....This wedding day is almost a carbon copy of mine long ago........both being held outside!!!!!!!!!!!...........Me and Hon wish Ralph a glorious and happy new life with his new bride...........Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone, maybe I should leave it at that and call it a day?..........went to the knee ortho doc today and he said the xrays don't encourage any hope for my knee getting any better any time soon.......He prescribed more pills to help with the shot I got in my knee, but his prognosis didn't sound too convincing, to say the least ..........at least He's honest........I don't want no more surgery and rehab.............I just want to drive my Boss and go to the grocery store once and a while on my own...........things I took for granted for longer than were given to me..........

On the bright side..................Hey wait a minute, where did that go?????????????????..................It's still here...............I'm still breathing and have a Boss in the garage waiting for me to bring the key!!!!!!!!!!!!..Amen!!
