Boss 302 10's All Motor

Finally broke the 10 sec barrier. Simple bolt-ons as described in the Timeslip thread. True testament on the capability of the Boss engine.

Two weeks ago ran a best of 11.11 @ 123.75 with a 1.65 60 foot on ET Street Bias Ply's

Time to go for it... ;D

Switched to ET Drags 28 x 9 x 15 plus E85.

Car weight: 3760 w driver

Track details:
Temp: 55
DA: (350)

Launch RPM: 5500 (CJ two step)

Rev limiter built into the tune and adjusted via custom tune options in the handheld. Set the desired launch RPM, once you have staged, hold the gas pedal to the floor. Release the clutch and the limiter is no longer active. Allows for a clean launch based on your suspension setup. CJ cars have this feature enabled by default.

Stock axles. Shelved Torsen and replaced with a locker.

Hand sanded over the weekend. Smoothed ports around the injector bosses. Also cleanup any runner misalignment due to molding process.

Tuned via Tuners Inc (Tony Gonyon). Close Colleagues with Shaun\AED. Also recently switched to HP Tuners software.

OR X Pipe

Metco upper and lowers in the rear. Factory shocks\springs etc. No front suspension mods other than CHE radiator brace. Factory rotors etc. Although looking at the Girodisc rotors +Battery relo via Blowfish & LS rear seat delete.

Latest update is that I got lucky and found a Factory NA CJ intake tube via Mike at Diversified Products in Michigan. Mike in turn set me up with Jason Antko and Patrick Lee at Watson Racing and they built a custom heat shied as the NA cars did not come pre-equipped. Once I get the setup installed, I will post photos.

What headers size dd u choose ? Did u change the over axle pipes ?

Can u explain whats the boss im port cleanup ? I would appreciate it if u can explain in simple english if u dont mind.
