I'm wondering if anyone know what Carbotech or Hawk pad compound the Boss OEM pad is most like? I'm just curious as to how the pads are as delivered.
I run Carbotech HT10s or 12 on my race car, front, and a slightly less agressive compound on the rears. I've been using these pads, or sometimes a similar Hawk compound, for years and have a good idea what to expect from them, at least, I know what to expect from them on my 2600 lb SN95 on race tires.
I plan to use the Boss for an occasional VIR club day, or a club day down at CMP. The latter though, CMP is rough on brakes so I plan to fab up some cooling ducts for the rotors. But besides that, I suppose I'm looking to see what experiences any of you track regulars have had with the stock pads.
