Not directed at anyone here directly, just a get off my lawn rant....

Was TrackDecals coming to peoples houses and giving bj's with each order? I think I have only been active on Reddit for maybe 4 years and I swear at least once a year there has been a "I ordered from TrackDecals 8 months ago and never got my stuff..." thread.

Having been in the business since 1999, full time since 2006 with several employees and well over 6 figure investments in equipment to churn stuff out quickly, and spending at least $25k per year in direct sponsorship of clubs all over the country, it ticks me off for people to continue to support a place that has a years long history of crap service....

End rant.

Thanks! This is valuable information to consider. It looks like a lot of complaints out there about them taking money and doing nothing.

Since I was the only one who mentioned that my old “reliable” source was trackdecals, I’m not sure that I prompted your “not directed at anyone here directly”. While using that service, I had problems with their turnaround, I quit using that service in 2024. I did receive orders that were paid for though. I’m not defending them as I experienced the crap that others have posted about on other sites. Their are belly up so that should end the discussion.
I did not realize that your company existed and I have been with TMO for several years and I don’t believe that I was ever invited to your lawn for a visit. Now that I’m aware of your company and the services that you have, I definitely will come over for a visit.

Working at Dealerships for over 30 years I usually had access to folks who did decals for the companies and more and I can vouch for DaveWs company. The key is why bother running around in circles checking out Reddit or other frankly silly areas when you have someone on here who is reasonably priced , knows what the product needs to work well at the track or autocross and has been making racing decals for 27 years. Plus he is a fellow Mustang Maniac and tons of us see him over the years at tracks or autocross events. He will be one of the main support companies at the Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Ne., he was there for the Spring Nationals and he gets what coneheads and track rats need cuz he be one! His family has raced since before he was born and he grew up with autocrossers and more since day 1. Dave and his wife have continued to invest in the track/autocross community partly due to their lifelong passion and it is always interesting to see what he brought in his trailer to events...........he listens to what gear heads want. Sorry for my rant but why wander over to some questionable site when you have a know source , a fellow TMO member , and someone who has invested stupid money in advances in his industry. I had an issue dragging my son's car to Georgia a few years back and the only one I knew I could count on in the St. Louis area with mechanical skills was Dave Whitworth. He had me stop by his shop ( he does plenty of race prep and more at his shop, he does alot more than decals ) and checked out my truck, gave me some ideas and refused me trying to pay him. Get that done at Reddit....................

If you go to the Solo Nationals check out Dave's trailer and if he is not there he is likely running or inside changing tires for competitors ---- yes he is the other " Tire Man " besides Blacksheep 1.

No insult or shade intended! We are racers here not vinyl experts so find a place, order, get stuff all good. Stuff delayed, find new place. I don’t hold that against anyone! I think every other source listed here is a legit company with satisfied customers so I’d prefer people buy from me but there are plenty of options.

I just vented about trackdecals. There have been recent Reddit threads on them where people kept ordering….

In fairness I did not know about his company until this thread. Somebody mentioned he had a company in another, older thread, but nobody ever said what it was, and he does not advertise it or mention it.

This was one of the reasons I asked for sources as the theme when I started this thread. A, to get sources, more than one, and feedback on their products and service, and B, to "out" DaveW's company and hopefully get some feedback on that, too. ;)

I bought the little magnets mentioned in the closed "car numbers" thread. I can attest those suckers are very, VERY strong magnets. If you don't mind holding down your numbers with a couple of these magnets I absolutely guarantee they won't come off no matter how fast you go.

For some reason that link to the thread does not work, but I saw your ingenious solution when I was searching the forum before I started this thread. And the way you put them on, it looks like they are part of the design.
