Really how long does it take to come up with advice on magnets? At what threshold does one become and expert on magnetic decals, inquiring minds want to know all knowing one.

Overnight, I wondered if I over reacted to your post. Then I re-read the thread and realized that I never once mentioned the name of my company, nor tried to sell you or anyone else a thing. IOnly my competitors names are mentioned here, which I also went out of my way to compliment as all the companies mentioned here are reputable and use good materials. No china bomb crap for any of them/us. Nope, I didn't over react.

All I did was try to caution people that magnets can be troublesome on track depending how they are used to hopefully avoid someone wasting money. We sell *several thousand* sets of magnetics per year and I am acutely interested in how they are used and in my customers successes. So that is how long it took me. For you, well, I am glad I never have to share a track with you. How many HPDE have you won, bro?

There’s me still thinking it’s strange that we have to run numbers on our cars (unless racing)
Never had to when doing track days over in Europe.

That being said I’ve just received some reusable vinyl numbers from you Dave (SPS)
Looking forward to seeing how they look on the car

Yeah, we don't do it up here either for track days. Some people do put on numbers, but none of the clubs running track days that I've run with require numbers.

Dave, I don't think you overreacted. It was a bit uncalled for to make an accusation that you would only give information that would benefit you financially. We likely have several members in here who are business owners that give advice with no ulterior financial motives. It's best if you give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I realize that the internetz and soshul media is filled with people marketing their wares, trying to peddle something, but it tends to be a little different in tight knit communities like this. We tend to shut down the people who are here mainly for self promotion.

I think there's enough info in this thread to shut it down. Some searches in the forum will bring up even more info on the subject.
