Do you have any sense of whether it was the Watts Link or the Torque Arm that contributed the most improvement in your handling?
I installed both at the same time, but the watts allows me to move the roll center around to alter the handling and that’s a very valuable tool.

No rear bar? What ballpark F/R spring rates are you at?

DaveW
I was 300’s out back, I went to 350’s with the cambered rear end and that may go up by the time we’re done testing today.

There we go, more than a second faster than my personal best time and it’s still only 40* out. I ran ONE 1:58.2 (and some mid 1:58’s) in October, I just ran Three low 1:57’s in a row through traffic on the same old tires from the October race. #Cortexracing for the win. Why didn’t I buy one of these cambered rear ends a long time ago? Now for some adjustments….

I put my 18mm rear bar on at the last race and took it right back off. It made the car feel very nervous. I have a cortex racing rear bar at the shop I’m going to try with this cambered rear end. I wanted to change one thing at a time.

Great stuff! glad to hear the affect was near instant. So thats another thing for the Xmas list... well maybe in 2025 Lol!
There is a LOT more speed in this car. I didn't even get a chance to start dialing it in before the rain came.

Do you have any data to compare cornering forces and speeds? Would be super interesting to see what the cambered rear changed.
Just Butt Dyno and stop watch. Both said major improvement.
This was a quick test to see how close the setup is and if we got the new ring and pinion installed correctly.
I knew the setup would be tight and need some tweaking but it was really closer than I thought.
It rained so I didn't get much time on the track but it was totally worth going and the rear end was totally worth buying. Definitely cornered way harder.

Did you change your rear gear?? I was thinking about putting in a 3.55
