How does one get that tire rack in the trailer 👀👀👀👀
What do you mean...how did I install it? How is it mounted? How did I build it? Or how did I physically get it into the trailer?

Its made with lightweight tubing so its not at all heavy.
My son and I carried it in, held it up to the wall and drilled the holes for it.
Boom-Installed.

Lol, Sal, i want one for my trailer. Lol but only for 4 tires

The big rectangle is 1-1/2 x 2 x .090 with the 2" side laid flat against the wall.
The tire supports are 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x .090
The round tube is 1-1/2 x .090

The 1-1/2 box welds up to the 2" side of the frame so there is a nice little ledge to put the weld on and also reduces distortion of the heat effected zone.
Tig welding instead of Mig welding also minimizes distortion and gives it a nice clean finished look.

Here's my fancy blueprint:

Classic answer, Ha ha ha 😂 😆 😄

Any chance on the more detailed walk through? Ie: who carried what part of the rack? how many steps taken? what weights were the other tube that you used....

I also see there was no mention of the welder or the painter? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😝😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can’t give ALL my secrets out, besides, something’s are better left to the imagination.

I will say this though….my son is the painter, I’m no longer allowed.
(They don’t call me the run king for nothin’)

dude, that's a serious bracket for that allen wrench, how much does that thing weigh?
They are U shaped magnets used to temporarily hold wires out of the way while machinery is being serviced. I slapped a couple on there to hold that tee handle Allen wrench as an afterthought.

Here is one I designed for my trailer. Haven't fabricated yet because I have been in a cast for the last five weeks. You would need to widen it for y' all's fatty tires.

🤣... It's what I get paid for.
Clearly.
We make a lot of parts and machines from prints, but when I build stuff of my own design as is most of our work is, the drawings look like sticks. Lol. I have every detail in my head but most never make it to paper. Now this is a very simplistic rough sketch, and most are way more detailed than this was, but the artwork is pretty much the same.
What matters is that the vision in my head flows through my hands into the work and the finished product always works good and looks good too. I wish I had learned to do cad/solid works but I am old school and by the time it became commonplace it was too late for me to start over. My fab career is very close to the end now and it’s going to have to be stick drawings a little longer. You might be surprised to see some of the sophisticated equipment I have built over the years with this method. The machines I have built have helped develop and produce some of the products in literally every home in America, and can be found in factories and labs around the world. It’s all under NDA but @Albino500 has been around enough to see much of it first hand.

I don't doubt it for a second. Your accolades speak for themselves. I work with many folks just like you. It just helps me to build it in a 3D environment first so I can move it through it's full range of motion (if applicable) and mitigate problems.
