Plus super sticky tires require stiffer springs/dampers.A great way to star learning car contrl is NOT getting a sticky set of Hoosiers right from the get go. Go with decent street tires and learn car control first. When you have lap times that match or beat similar cars on your tracks. head over to semis or a hotter street tire. Its a shame to go straight to slicks before you can control the car well. Things happen so much faster when you have sticky rubber!
Good stuff. I will be "sticking" to Michelin 4PS 305s or 315s for another round of tires...then maybe going to Yoks...she is still my daily after all, only so much I can take on the street (makes me sound like a wimp, but I am just old souled and cautious to go too far too quick.)A great way to star learning car control is NOT getting a sticky set of Hoosiers right from the get go. I would caution against the Falkens at this point in time. There have been many cases (especially in wider sizes) of delamination. Falken does not give any refunds and blames it entirely on driving style, vehicle setup, etc.I would consider Falken RT 660s or Bridgestone RE71RSs instead of the PS4Ss , as they will not wear quite as well as the Michelins, but they both will wear at a slower rate I than a set of Yokes ---- those wear quickly!
Ask DaveW how well the Bridgestones wear compared to YoMamas --- he has been killing it with the RE71RSs.
We don't have that anymore. We just have a country full of new people who have no clue about the days of the Empire, honesty, working for a living, pulling your weight and so forth. Oddly enough, when the child in Ottawa flung the doors to the country open the people who flooded in don't seem to care much for any of our traditions. You would not recognize this country now. It is quite a mess on all fronts.Whats wrong with chocolate sandwich biscuit?? Very descriptive! Just think, you could have been just like Canada! Miss the good old days of Empire and all that.
Well, that's great the path your girls want to follow, it really is because few young uns seem inclined to go into policing these days. I hope they have strong character, between the violence they will see and the never ending criticism from people (especially those in government) it is a tough slog. I put in a career with the OPP and later with the province as a fraud investigator and it is mostly a well paid but thankless endeavor.Have not been back to the UK or Canada for ages now. Our girls are in Vancouver now and they prefer to come visit us down here. Sent them back to Canada to study and who would have guessed, they both want to get into Law enforcement.. Too much Law and Order I think.
But was just kidding about the Canada thing.. Love bugging these modern youngsters by telling them colonization had its good points as well!
