Hello,

I am new on this Mustang forum and would need some advise on the Ford Performance Springs & Sway bar kit specifically for the GT350 & GT350 R.

I know there is a thread already but nobody really gave any feedback about the full set on the car, mostly was about the springs only.

I have a 2016 GT350 Track Pack, completely stock which I have now stopped using as a daily driver and want to "transform" into a track car only. I have ordered the M-5700-N set but now I start to have doubts whether I should install the complete set or only the springs first ...I know I should have asked for advise first.

Also want to mention that I plan to install the Vorshlag Camber plates and have ordered R spec lighter wheels & tires.

Is there anybody that has installed the entire kit and can give some feedback how the car behaves vs. stock ?
Appreciate any advise you can give me.
Thanks
Peter

Honestly the frpp rear springs are little soft. The car rides little floaty on the rear on my non R 17 Shelby.

Rear springs on the OEM R are higher rate and go up too 1200lbs. Curb weight is on the oem R springs are 900+lbs

I just had this same set up done. FP sway bars & springs with -2.5 camber in front & rear at -2.1. I've only drove it about 15 miles on the street so far.
It feels looser, like it wants to turn. It doesn't pull to one side, just feels like it wants too. Little concerned how it will feel at 150mph. Not sure if I like it yet. What's your feeling with the set up on your car and what degree camber are you running?

I probably need to get it on the track to really test it out.

Right after I published my request for feedback on the whole spring and sway bar set from Ford Performance, I decided to install the springs only. I went to my first track day of the year and the car felt great. Then I decided to install the sway bars as well and choose the softest setting. My first track day with the full set up, I had some initial doubts whether it was really an improvement but since then, I have done several events and I am really happy how the car handles on the track. My next step is to set the sway bars the the hardest setting and see how that works. I have -2.5 front and - 2 rear camber. Next time my car goes into the shop I will ask to modify to -3 front camber.

The bars are great and really complement the springs. Much less roll, which was a needed improvement, and the rear bar works very well with the rear springs to provide a spring feel that is about perfect.

I am running these bars in conjunction with BMR track springs on my 2018 PPL2 car and they are great. I don't know if a bigger front bar could even fit in there. At the track we were experiencing push with bars at soft/soft with 305/680-18 Pirelli slicks. Adjusted to soft/firm and the car woke right up, able to rotate the car mid corner with the throttle and turn in no longer scrubs the left front.

What sway bar settings are you running? I have mine set on the soft setting front and back.

My GT350 with a similar setup was darty on the street but hooked up on track, especially with the SC2's on the street. I'm sure you'll be find on track.
After driving the new set up for about 50 miles, its feeling a lot better. I made some turns that would of been at the limit before. Went threw faster and came out feeling less resistant.

Curious about the additional negative camber. Let us know how it improves you times.

I just installed the setup on my car and I initially went with a very S197 style setup with the front bar at stiff and the rear at soft. Just did the install last weekend so it's only been on the road for about 50 miles so far without an alignment yet so waiting to solidify that before I pass my judgement. Far less body movement compared to factory.
