Does anyone have the correct part number for the R's Michelin PSC2 tires? Or are the links below the actual tires used? I'm not ready to order them yet but will be soon.

Based on load rating, tire weight, and "No Porsche" designation I believe this is the 305 version you want to go with:

That says N0 (Porsche) not No Porsche. They also have some sizes designated N1 (Porsche). Based on that (and the fact that the N0 is more expensive ;) ), I'm going to say it's the one made for Porsches.

Not sure if anyone tried this already, but on tirerack.com just type in the year, make, and model and it comes up with your OE tires.

Tirerack is usually pretty much on point with their labeling - if they say those are the OE tires, they probably are. But a quick phone call to them can clear it up. Heck, they normally can tell you when the next generation or size of a tire is coming out months in advance because they work so closely with the tire manufacturers.

Duly noted. Apparently my info is incorrect. Sorry for the foul :p . I'm glad we got some clarity though; I had been wondering about the differences between these two tires and it looks as though I was misinformed.

The RE71Rs in 305/30 are finally available at the end of august, decent price too at $353 each from tire rack

The Kuhmo V720 (variant of the ACR kuhmos) are also pretty cheap at $266 each

Strange, The R7's seem happy at -2.0* camber, but the PSC2's need more.....

I've got a set of PSC2's with about the same running time as VoodooBOSS and they look the same as his. I'm running my GT350 exactly the way it rolled out of the factory, which is -1.3 degrees on the left and -1.4 on the right. I've got a set of camber plates ready to install, but I'm not seeing the need.

I think there are two different things going on here. First, the camber you need is the camber that delivers the best temperature spread across the face of the tread. I've only seen one post on that topic and the author said that -1.8 degrees was about right for an R. The second thing I think is that the Michelins have two different tread rubber types across the face, and one wears faster than the other. I suspect that it doesn't matter how much camber you put on the front suspension, you'll wear the outside faster than the inside because that's the way the PSC2 is made. The R7's have the same rubber all the way across, so they wear more evenly.

Is anyone running 295/30 and 305/30 tires on their GT350 stock wheels on track without major issues? Toyo makes the R888 and Michelin makes the PSC2 in this size. The Nitto NT-01 looks like it is only made in the 305/30.

Trying to find the next track tire.
