Nick - by chance do you have the vector files for those GT4 graphics? Looking to cut a few of the pieces on my vinyl cutter.
 
Thanks! I was wondering. So the changes inside the ECU programming only tell the ECU which cylinder fires when, but you have to change the pinning so they actually fire in that order.
Yes firing order is hard wired. I need to research the ECU. My guess is that those tables are used for knock sensing, but I'm just speculating. It'll be a while before I'm ready to fire the engine up...
 
Got the engine in today. Dropped it in from above as I don’t have a 2 post lift or table to raise it on the K member. With the larger oil pan and long tubes, it’s VERY tight to install. Had to remove the engine mounts and re-route the fuel line.

Will not do that again — next time the engine needs pulling, I’ll find someone with a 2 post....

Ugh. My assumption is, like the S197, once headers go on, you are basically limited to removing/installing from below (drop K or whatever it is called in S550-speak)
