Has anyone done the Magnum XL swap and regretted it?

Rebuilding the MT82 you'll end up down the same road over and over again and end up spending more than the Magnum XL swap over long term. I'm sure of this.

Just ask me!! On number 5 at the moment, or is that number 6?.. lost count. We have done the MT82 rebuild so often that is just like changing brake pads. Looking at the built XL now for a friend's car.. will see how that turns out.

Totally understand, but don’t give up on it! I’ve had my share of steep learning curve to get this combo dialed in, but once it’s right, it’s soooo worth the effort. The process that @EF1 linked above, along with this process to make sure the bellhousing is dead center:

Is this really required? This is such a dumb hobby
