Hi Brain welcome to BMO and nice driving! There are many members that would love to hear about your race car build and I suggest starting a thread in the forum below. There are other members that have done similar things with the S197 but you'd be the first with the S550. Many of us have GT350's on order and would like to see what is possible with the new platform.

New PB at Mid-Ohio w/ Chicane: 1:47.90, solidly beats my old best (1:50) with my NT05's. Did this one on my street tires (S-04 PP) due to threat of rain. 8) However due to phone issues, I don't have any video of it. Just the data from Harry's lap time

Went to Limerock Saturday with SCDA and had a blast. tried a set off A7 scrubs and they ere awesome. PB 100:12 Stock boss A7 tires. Couple of my friends brought there mustangs and got a chance to drive his 2011 gt prepped to scca t2 spec. WOW turn in was awesome brakes were sweet (st47). ran 1:00 flat in his car with traffic. He turned a 58:50.

I didn't make it to MPH this year. Road America is usually my only mid-west trip.

I was at The Ridge Motorsports Park this past August 21-22.

First time at COTA and the conditions were terrible. Rained the entire weekend, it was like 39 degrees at the drivers meeting but came up to a high of 45 during the afternoon. Not my favorite track but I still had a blast. Driving in the rain really taught me the importance of being smooth. The first video is a few semi dry laps on Pirelli slicks, managed a 2:33 and the second video is on Continental DW's (340TW) because I couldn't get a set of PSS's. They were actually better than I expected and a good alternative to PSS's IMO...especially since they are a lot cheaper too Oh, and sorry about the audio, my external mic crapped out.

Wow, that is hauling A$$!! My fastest is 158 and interestingly I didn't realize I hit that until later watching the vid.
