here is my lap at Big Willow at Willow Springs (WSIR)....This is my first ever track session with this 2017 GT350R.

Top speed: 140 front straight, 136 back straight.
T1 min speed - 88mph
T2 min speed 90mph
Omega min speed - 58mph
T5 min speed - 67mph
T8 min speed - 125mph
T9 min speed - 98mph
yes, I really bounced around a ton at T8.

car is stock, except for camber plate. narrower GT350 wheels (carbon fiber wheels are sitting in my garage being admired). But most importantly I had 305/325 (stock is 305/315) Goodyear 3R tires (ZL1 1LE tires).
this is a gummy tire, faster than stock Sport Cup 2 tire I am sure. This car is super easy to go fast.
looking at the data, I did lift briefly as I caught the 2 cars at T9. a driver with bigger ball (for T9) with clean traffic and right tire pressure (I ran ~7psi too high) is a 1:25 car if not faster. This car is a beast !!

Now that looks like a fun track! I like the way they have the corner numbers posted.
We need a TMO Big Willow day next year!

running 3R because they were $100 cheaper PER tire. But they also wore a lot faster. I am not sure I would recommend it.

Emilio of 949racing also did a 1:28.0. He was on 305/305 SC2. I followed him for few laps, I had more grip with my 305/325 3R, and I was on narrower wheels..

I redid all the wiring and now everything is fine. I basically opened all the wire looms I needed to and rewired everything with only the ones needed. Everything is working fine now.

yeap, that's a MRS. driven by Mark. He is a very fast driver in a very fast car (car is turbocharged on R-Comp)...

not sure you guys caught Sonny's time above at Buttonwillow...That's 949racing's shop car. GT350 with R mods on 305/325 3R tires, and ran a 1:52.0..... That's flying !!
