Have not done camber plates, but I will put that on the list.

The Watson bolt in roll bar - I can attach harnesses to it, I believe. Can anyone verify? I have also made a separate post in the S550 forum to handle these questions, but it has not been approved yet.

As far as the loud part; wearing ear plugs when I am in the track as well as the helmet. Spent the first 17 years of my life as a diesel-powered refrigeration technician so I am used to hearing protection.

Appreciate all the advice.
Yes you can attach harness to the Watson.

Yes. It’s a pretty straightforward install and will support race seats. I have a tutorial if needed.

Also +1 on the hearing protection. Years of guns and fast cars takes a toll on the ears.

Hello Everyone. Brand new here, really looking forward to learning new things and sharing experiences.

TLDR: Went out for a haircut and some oil... Came home with a mint 2012 Boss 302 🤘

30 second elevator pitch:
- 50 odd years old, retired from Army National Guard, working for a large international airline (Behind the scenes, nothing cool). First car at 16 was a mint 1 owner '66 Mustang coupe. Few years later got Mopar / Big Block / American Graffiti fever and foolishly sold it for a '68 Charger that had an affinity for self destruction.
- Life happens; kids, Army and such... no time or $ for anything cool until ~2000: Had a few BMWs, a Ducati, a 1,900cc Roadliner (Stupid fast but HEAVY( [For sale by the way]. Been daily driving a '17 Tacoma and satisfied with it.
- Last year I found myself single again, kids are grown-up, Army days are over... Been casually looking at trunk slammer State Trooper spec Fox Bodies and CPO Mach-1s but could not stomach the $.
- Weekend before last I stopped by the local Ford dealer for a couple quarts of Motorcraft XTM5QS (For my Tacoma), turn out of the parts department and BAM! Sitting in showroom is a MINT 2012 Boss302. Like it just came off the truck; only 4,500 miles, new car smell etc. Owned by a local collector, gargage kept, service records etc... I convinced myself I could afford it, condition was perfect, this is was as close to a unicorn I would ever be able to afford and recognized it would eat away at me for the rest of my life... They fired it up in the showroom, you should have seen the regular Joe/Family car buyers siting at the little sales desks jump in their seats. I heard the manager in the tower say to himself "Lucky Man" and it was all over.
- So, a haircut and transmission oil trip ended up with me driving home a like new 2012 Boss 302 o_O. Honestly I am still in shock, even thought about selling it back, but love it and thankful to be in this kind of position.

Welcome and boy you did land the big one….congrats!

It is a twin to my first Boss 302 and it kept me going on a run for 4 more Mustangs after that --- kept trading up. It is such a fun car to drive and toss around a track, due consider letting loose those ponies at an autocross or track in the future. One small clue is ditch those old Pirellis, regardless, as they have to be hard as rocks and honestly should be changed in the near future due to age. Depending on what you want to do the Mustang Maniacs at TMO can give you advice on what to replace them with -- unlikely Pirelli will be on the menu.

Glad you are here and great and lucky find ---- you will be telling the story over and over as folks will ask you about your car at the gas station, parts store, car shows, etc.

Hi everyone, I've finally found the right time to introduce myself to the group and the forum.
My first name is Romano and my nickname is Praxys.
I'm Italian but have been living in the US for over five years because my wife is American and I currently live in the state of Virginia.
I'm no longer a "young guy" but for many years of my life I've attended numerous Track Days in Italy, driving at different circuits such as Vallelunga (Piero Taruffi) Lazio region, which I consider my "home" circuit, and others like Monza (Milan), Magione (Umbria), etc.
My "sports" cars of the past have mostly been Toyotas, but not only... FIAT UNO TURBO, Toyota Corolla TS "facelift," Toyota Celica T20 and CelicaTS T23, and for a short time Lotus Elise with a Yamaha 2ZZGE engine.
I won't list the upgrades I've made to my cars in the past because the list would be too long and boring.

Today I'm driving a stunning and thrilling MY21 Ford Mustang GT S550 fastback.
I've already started making some initial "upgrades" to it, but I'll continue to develop it to prepare it for tracks on Virginia circuits and, one day, other circuits here in the US.

We'll have time to talk, for now, I just want to introduce myself, and I'm delighted to do so.
Congratulations to all of you, congratulations on your passion for this sport of "chosen people."
It's a pleasure to be here with you.

Praxys

P.S.
I'll need your driving experience on the American circuits I need to "learn," and more.

Where are you in Virginia? There is a great Mustang heavy event at a circuit in South Carolina in October.

Thanks guys... thanks for the tip @Fabman to @flyhalf...

flyhalf... ... e ce provamo (detto alla romana) ... hahaha, felice che ci sia un italiano in questo gruppo
Grazie Alessandro ... sicuramente avremo molto di parlare ... e con estremo piacere :)

I live not far from Charlottesville....
I know there's an event at the Richmond circuit this month, but not a track day...
