@NCM last weekend...
While some of them look like I am hauling...I was not
I am still only putting break in miles on the car, so was not above 4500 rpms, or 100mph, and only did 3 laps. Just could not resist being at the track and not at least getting a feel for how the car was. In short though...this car s going to be an amazing car on track, it just wants to turn. I am literally driving it anywhere I can to get the miles...."honey did you get the mail" Hang on I will drive down the driveway and get it!!
.....I thought the temp tag just a nice tough !!!
@YellowJacketBoss302 how do you like your GT350 compared to your Boss 302? We can change your ID if you want. Send me a message if you want to change it.
I love the car. But my lap times are only slightly better than when in the BOSS. One issue at Barber is the engine hitting redline just a hair before the brake zone. That messes up my focus and driving. I got some R size wheels (SVE) and am putting on MPSS in 305 x 30 (same diameter as the GT350R tires). After that I'll try some sport cup 2 tires in the R size. That should answer all my concerns. I see black boss and others putting down good laps in R's so I am hopeful!
Always a great thing if you can get a picture at Daytona, Indy, Talladega. Or any of the great road courses around the country. I think the only writing on anything at High Plains Raceway by my house is the "Don't stop for animals on the track" sign.
