Also they got one of the best car in the show. It's not flashy but the fit and finish is beyond anything I've seen.

Yes I did have the chance to talk with Patrick. They are very busy at Watson.
They're building the new CobraJet, converting the Boss TrackAttack car to Boss302S to replace the FR500 @Miller and building 2015 mustang to be "TrackAttack" car.

I tried to get some info for about a new road course race car. He's not sure how it will play out with the new regroupement at Ford and with the work they got but there will be nothing from them before 2016.
Good news is, they will be developing more parts for the average customer.

Cortex doesn't have a booth.

I was expecting more road course stuff from the show. It's more oriented to drag rand dirt racing.

I think this is going the same path as the BOSS 302 program. I believe Multimatic did most of the R&D on the race cars and then Watson built them. I'm sure Watson was involved in the development to some degree but Multimatic is developing the cars. I know the race teams aren't too happy that they have to wait another year to get their hands on a S550 chassis. Maybe some will buy a GT and build their own.
