does anyone have experience with the project6gr wheels ?

I find these wheels very nice and almost identical to the GT350R rims.


On instagram i came across this picture. ("caliper clearance")
That's why I have some to think about now

That looks more like a piece of rubber debris got stuck in there than the wheel hitting the caliber, if that's what you meant.
Whatever it was conformed to the angled lower side also, not a full on metal to metal contact patch.

Track marble/rubber pickup. Could’ve been the size of your thumb.

Not a rock or metal.

That’s a photo of my car. I do not recommend these wheels for track use on a GT350.

I tracked mine 3 times but not anymore. Structurally they held up fine, but that caliper clearance bothered the hell out of me. Here's mine after 3 track days.

They work fine on non GT350 cars. Not so much in GT350’s.

If you want R style replicas with lots of caliper clearance, I have ViBE wheels on mine and they look great. Fully 6061-T6 forged as well.

They're in the upper $3k to low $4k range depending on size/offset/finish. My set is 19x11 +50 offset on all 4 corners.
