I assume some folks in here have driven NASA Spec Iron Cars... as I get more track time in my GT350, I find myself wondering if I should just switch to a track-only car that’s safer with lower running costs.
It looks like I could get into a very well built spec iron car for $25-30k. I know the GT350 is faster, handles better, etc. I guess my question is, would I still have the same amount of fun? I assume as I improve as a driver I’d be within a couple seconds on lap times in an SI car versus what I’m running today in the 350.
I also assume I could swap in faster running gear to an SI car if I wanted to run AI/AIX in the future. Another part of me just says just to continue to enjoy the 350 and not over complicate life...
