Thats Peter Bekkers and a friend. He is really really quick and you won't be passing him in a Boss. ;). Runs 2:18's at Sebring on RA1's.

Peter

Yeah I have subscribed to his youtube channel for a couple months now, he is really moving.

Re: Track Time

It happens, heck even F1 drivers do it. I never followed anyone off, but I had a knucklehead go the wrong way at the turn 5 intersection at THill and I was close enough behind (and on the correct line, he was to the side) I had to follow to avoid getting hit. And for some reason I was the only one who got chewed out. Go figure.

What is his you tube channel? That was some awesome driving!

Re: Track Time

Nice driving. Was Chris one of the guys you passed in the GT? Looks like the other drivers were snoozing when the instructors talked about the line through the attitudes. ;)

Yeah, he was the second GT on the video, Car #25. Only him and I had any real track experience prior to this, it showed.

I guess becasue some folks don't push "10/10ths" they don't have any "real" experience?

Boss Track Attack Day 2

None of the videos from day one turned out, had the aperture set wrong.

So how do you get the videos to come out good when mounting the camera behind you ? I mount my gopro on the roll bar behind me like you do and I can see inside great but the outside the windshield does not show up at all. Just a bright glare in camera with a glimpse of a vehicle shadow once in a while.

Re: Track Time

Here's the 'old gal' at Limerock this weekend. New Nitto's on 18" Enkei's worked out very well (Thanks again Gary!). Car rotates and responds to throttle beautifully with this setup. Air temps were in the mid eighties, track temps at over 90 degrees - no cooling issues whatsoever (I have 302S grille and water wetter in radiator). I actually ran this run with the A/C mistakenly ON ! I was sitting in pit out for a while and thought some cool air would be nice for a while till I got on track.... ;D Still no heat issues. Did throw one DTC code once - The Aeroforce gauge reported nothing but the dash light was on. The Aeroforce gauge was able to clear it though. Probably another P0300...

Check out the rodeo at 1:02 - I didn't expect the guy in the silver Audi to brake so hard at try to give me a point by at the turn.

Turn on the Spot Meter when you are filming from a dark space into a brighter setting, like when filming outdside a windshield from inside a car.

The camera comes from the factory with this turned off.

The Spot Meter icon is displayed in the upper-right corner of the LCD when Spot Metering is on.

Nice vid thanks for sharing! Still looks better then mine from the helmet and I have mine set on spot. Most of my vids are bleached out from that angle but I still like to see what I am doing, it helped me break some bad habits when I started out.

Had the spot meter on today and it still did not help. Not sure what else to try? I can take great pics if I mount the gopro on the inside of the front windshield, but then you can not see the driver.

Re: Track Time

I have a 1st gen gopro and it doesn't have issues mounted on the RB on my other car. I had it taped to the side of my helmet a couple times and it helped me figure out a couple bad habits like 2012YellowBoss.

Nice! Glad you like the wheels and tires Pete ;D Way to eat up the P cars ;) Well I'm glad you didn't overheat. I just looked at the forecast for next weekend at MPH and while I'm excited about testing the new suspension, I should be more curious about how all the cooling mods will work. It looks like it's going to get tested. Forecast for Saturday............97 FREAKING DEGREES!! This is Nebraska in May not Arizona!!
