It felt fantastic, between that and new tires I felt much more planted and the car handled great.

It looks like you don't have the handling pack? from everything I've read it sounds like the non-HP cars' stock tire really nerfs the car on track and a tire upgrade really transforms the car.

Did you lower the car at all? my wheel well gap looks a bit large compared to what I would expect given the handling pack has similar specs but looks lower to me. Could be an illusion with the additional aero and splitter but I thought the base and HP DH had the same springs.

Would you mind coming back and reporting to us how many track days you get out of that 3R tire?

It is 100 tw. I have been thinking about running it in a 19" size, but I did not want to have to buy a new set after every track weekend if that is what 100 tw means.

That pic is a SC3, the 200tw tire, not a 3R.

They do not have the same springs.

No handling pack, I added the HP spoiler and did the camber plates myself. Car hasn't been lowered either.

Definitely can update on that, I'm doing 2 days at Sebring next month. I'm much more comfortable and familiar on that track so I'll be pushing harder than what I did in Atlanta. I am running Super Car 3s not the 3R's. Another friend of mine who's also got a GT500 runs the 3rs and it seems the life on those are pretty short. I've heard decent feedback about the regular 3s so we'll see how it holds up. I immediately preferred them over the Pirelli's if I'm being honest.

Thank you for that info I was unaware- I’m currently measuring almost 7 inches of ground clearance from the front lip which seems like way too much but idk why it could have gone up after wheel and tire change.
