Those look great.

And yes the anodized should be more durable as it's not an adhesive bond that can be broken down by heat.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Very nice. A friend of mine has the C10's on his C6 Z06. Is the anodizing more than powder coat and did you consider an 11.5" wide rear wheel?

Yes it's a plating process, using the wheel as the anode.

11" gives me the option of either 305 or 315 on the rear. I think the 11.5" would be a bit wide for the 305's ?

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Steve,
They're custom. I ordered 52mm offset **. Outside of tire (315) is flush with wheel arch, I'd estimate between 1/2" - 3/4" on the inside -- will measure when I mount.

Being custom they're spendy -- $700 a pop plus $25 for anodizing: http://www.ccwheel.com/wheels-display.php?view=C10

** Checked offset and updated post. 52mm, not 50mm as originally posted.

Mounted the rears today. Outside of tire is about 1/4" outside wheel arch (about half of the 10.5" Enkei):

Inside is the issue -- lot's of clearance when loaded, but only just over 1/8" to this reinforcement at full rebound:

Here's the mounted wheel loaded, you can see the reinforcement through the spoke at 12 o'clock:

So based on my experience 52mm offset is ideal for an 11" wheel -- more would reduce outside overlap, but run the risk of rubbing on full rebound.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Today, I picked up my Boss from the dealer with the Blowfish shifter mount and Ford Racing lower control arms with poly bushings. This is a positive transformation on both counts.

Last week, I also installed the Whiteline hood struts. Even that was huge improvement over the prop rod. So far, all mods to my Boss have been favorably received.

Oil and filter changed, cracked rear rotor replaced, exhaust hanger welded back up after breaking off last track day. Ready for the weekend at Hallett.

HA, that was a good one!

I took mine to the dealer to get the hood resprayed. Found rust spots under the paint. Everyone check your hood edges for iron contamination rust before your warranty runs out.
