I am sure TMS will chime in, as his daughter is a kindred spirit to yours. She also has a Mustang V6 , and it had to be a manual , no slush box for her either??? Nice to know we have some fathers out there bringing up their daughters properly, ha?! You are a considerate father Polaristxguy!

Bill Quick update. Daughter found low mileage, 8500 2016 RS at a dealer in Illinois. So no more lil V-6 for my little girl. 350HP and six speeds. Dad already bought her Schroth harnesses for both sides.

Coz What cart, make and model are you using under the engine and trans. I need one of these for the same upgrades.

Unfortunately, it's homemade. My friend, who also has the garage I'm using, does some welding for his personal use (turboed Fox Body) and built it as his welding table. It's got heavy square tubing as legs to which he welded a plate and bolted the swivel caster wheels. Plate steel top. REAL heavy.

It's actually a bit high and even I at 6'2" will have to stand on a platform (one of those small folding aluminum ones - maybe 15" high) to remove the valve springs, manifold, etc. The timing chains, oil pump etc will be right around chest height for me.

Made it easy to work under the car to unbolt the K-member and trans mount though.

If you want some closer pictures of the cart I can PM them to you.

Those Focuses are a riot!!! Cool , as she still is rowing the gears , so reinforcing the comment that the two of you raised your daughters correctly?!

She called me after taking her car through the new highway tunnel in Seattle
A car thru a tunnel will surely enhance what your car sounds like!...If I had a tunnel near me I'd go thru it every tyme I had my Boss out!. TMS, The 350 arrive yet? It seems your Boss will be serving double duty in the future.....Like mine is now. Why is the Avg MPG much lower when Son brings it back????

Took the Boss to the local car show last Sunday. Six in the Cougar/Mustang class, and we brought home second place. A '13 GT took first, and it was a very clean car. Track cars get dirt in them that I'll never get out. But its always fun watching all the people take a close look at the Boss, and simply walk past other cars.
I would have been happy though if the judges had put the '66 and the Mach 1 in the top 3. Both looked very nice.

Thanks! And the pic doesn't show all the rock chips on the front end!
I'm surprised it looks that shinny - the last tyme I polished it was a couple months after I drove it off the showroom floor. Menzerna Power Lock is good stuff. But I can tell when I dry with a waffle microfiber it isn't as smooth and slick as it needs to be.
Just need to find the Tyme to polish it again.

Finished upgrading my OPGs, crank sprocket, installed L&M intake cams, Boss exhaust, and Boss valve springs, along with new timing chains, phasers and guides. Ported 2018 intake. Kooks Shorty headers and MRT H-Pipe. Mike Rousch tune. Started right up and feels good via butt dyno. May take her to the real dyno next week.
