Finally got around to installing my axle reservoir (Bob's Autosport). The level is less than 1/2" below the fill hole but there is still a little gear oil staining on the axle tube. Enough is enough so the reservoir percolated up to the top of the to-do list.

Reservoir was polished up a little (I have my standards). The kit hardware is complete but I did not care for the hose and hose clamps so I switched to a Fragola PTFE/braided hose. No pics yet (sorry) but will post one or two up the next time I am under the car.

Parts list (all from Summit):
1) FRA-602614-24BL - "EXT"-extreme black covered AN-6 straight x 45 degree black aluminum nut
2) FRA-499264-BL AN-6 x 7/16-20 - AN 90 degree swivel to AN straight thread - 992
3) FRA-482206-BL AN-6 x 1/4 90 degree adapter - 822 - black
4) FRA-493203-BL #1/4 NPT pipe plug internal - black

Bob's kit includes a blue pipe plug (item 4) that I installed some time ago so just left it alone.

The Teflon hose is routed like a sideways U - from the axle fitting then up by the wheel well/frame area, around the filler hose(?), and then to the AN fitting on the reservoir bottom. Added a zip-tie to loosely restrain the hose does from getting too close to the sharper edges of the body. The hose has a good 1.5" to 2" clearance from the exhaust. Going to keep an eye on the hose to see how it holds up with suspension movement and life on the underside of the car.

No rattle, no contact, and expecting zero ooze onto the axle tube.

Not today (last weekend), got the 15” front / 14” rear brakes on my 12 GT500 using the S550 PP front calipers. Will be out for events at a few different tracks in June, interested to find out how they feel compared to the OEM 14” / 11.8” setup. Also did FPP rear lower arms and MM relocation brackets.

I cheaped out and just used some new Raybestos rubber hoses. My car is seeing maybe half a dozen days on track per season at most, and I drive pretty sedately these days.

Does this work?
I like it! What hub did you use? Do the turn signals work right? How is the offset front to back, similar to stock, farther away, closer? Is that gun metal or silver? thanks

Hub is NRG SRK-175H.

Turn signals work. They no longer turn off automatically.

With my hub disconnect, the steering wheel is closer to the driver.

Gunmetal.
