Not very exciting, but I'm painting my new hood strut brackets today and watching the paint dry. Hopefully this post takes me another 15min to type........

nope...:( still 14min left...... lol

the original brace is kinda flimsy and always makes me cringe when i'm under the hood, so the brackets look nice, but the black brackets on the red hood look terrible so, I ordered some PQ color and some clear.

The car above looks awesome! I'm no match for that excitement...:p

Almost took the car out for a ride since it'll be about 65 here in Denver. Did not do it but we should have a great weekend around 65-70 degrees and I'll let the Filly run this weekend. Gotta check the JTL can for oil too.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Tonight I installed a Ford Racing Rear Seat Delete Kit. Took about 2.5 hours with help from my son. I put my factory seat, seatbelts, childseat retainers, and all hardware in large sealed trash bags and put all in the attic. I am very happy with the new look and would sell the factory set up, but absolutely do not want to ship it. My seat delete kit was delivered on a wooden pallet by an 18 wheeler. I was expecting UPS, but guess this box was too bulky for them, and it is large.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Got up at 6, checked the pads, bled the brakes, added XL-18 to the trans, greased the ball joints and added 1/2 quart of oil. Swaped tires right to left, added graphics to honor my Owner and crew and created a tire pressure/temp tracking spread sheet. Left at 1 pm and drove 300 miles to Summit Point WV to participate in the EMRA time trial tomorrow.
Will post some pics and video on Monday.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

This would probably be more appropriately titled "What did someone else do to your boss (or GT :)) today?" A high school girl in a Honda Fit left a stop sign before I had completely passed her, clipping my rear wheel and bumper as I drove by. The damage isn't serious to my car; I need a new wheel and the bumper may need to be replaced. My wheel ripped a hole in her bumper . Oh well, there we no injuries and as always it could have been much worse. But I always figured I would damage this car at the track before on the street... haha
