Wide-Angle Mirror

Just sharing something I bought that should help with rear/side visibility on the track.

What I like about the wider rear mirror is that I can see multiple angles (and blindspots) from one location, so for quick maneuvers it can be done with one eye glance. I have good left peripheral vision (and hearing) but I set the wider mirror to cover the rear and right blindspots outside my peripheral views - which you can see in the pics. Neat!

Not bad. I like the old school Wink mirrors.

I bought a Wink setup but we have so much rake on the windshield that it would block the view too much. Still have it with brackets if anyone wants to pay $35 shipped.
Was going to eliminate side view mirrors with Cobra Jet blanks to save weight and improve drag but not worth the loss of front view.

I have a custom race seat and because I'm a taller guy I have it mounted very low and I removed the sparco bottom cushions and replaced them with a thin foam pad. This help lower my eyelevel below the mirror - which was already in my field of view before I got the wide angle one. lol
