bnight has the magic formula we have all found --- square means quite a bit better life with a normal rotation procedure. With a Mustang those tiny tires up front just are not up to the dive under braking going into a tight turn.......can you say...
Repave...............sounds like I do have a good reason to wander up there this year and run with a few friends! Repave usually means easy on tires and I do welcome that!
On the front I've run 185 (stock), 220, 275, 450, 500 #/in springs. I've got a pair of 400's in my spring box. Every increase in front spring rate has given a step in performance. If I were tuning this car for Ford, I'd probably have 300's on the...

Barber is very 'chunking' friendly track. 1,2,3,4 is a chunk, 5 is a chunk, 7-8 chunk, 9-10 chunk, 11-12 chunk, 13-14 chunk. Now we're down from 14 corners to 6 'chunks' or complexes. These corners connect in a way which will be the fastest...
I applaud you for driving your Stang in the Winter and in snow. It is a lost art required by most of us old farts where all wheel drive was almost non existent. A set of good snow tires all the way around and it is amazing how well many cars... (see full post)
