This car weighs almost what our cars weigh and has a lot of power, so this longevity review on the new Hoosier Track Attack Pro (not the R8, a 40 tw tire. This is a 200 tw tire and significantly cheaper) might be useful. It is 305R30/19 (see full post)
After they've had a good amount of time to cool though, right? I know it often goes without saying around these parts, but if a cold torque rating is applied to a hot stud after a lapping session the nut may feel looser than normal for different...

All things being equal the leverage will be greater In this particular instance with carefully selected backspacing components problem
is mitigated with good extended studs and spacers. The hubs on a s550/650 are pretty beefy as well. Yet wheels... (see full post)
I agree with Dave. Almost every GT slick on the planet is for an 18" wheel, so 18's are a no-brainer in my book. My car came with 19's, but for track duty, I'm a fan of an 18" wheel.I like to have some sidewall to work with as a driver. Very...
There's a lot of quoting of general cases, but we're dealing with a specific case here. If you use a spacer, and the same wheel, the centerline of the wheel & tire moves away from the hub, and leverage (and bearing wear) on the hub increases...
I’ll test them out when i get them assuming OP’s spacers are good. Yeah if you have it set up right specifically engineered for your application all should be good. I’m not worried i’m going to do it. Plenty of people do it wrong in various... (see full post)
I need to just have this auto post every 45-60 days, but the above is a terrible idea. I do alignments, mostly on performance cars as a decent part of my living. Average about 250/year. And lots of camber plates.Any non threaded adjustment...
I agree i’m sure it’s work. The car is from AZ and you probably seen it. So what car isn’t a lot of work? i got a brand new mustang and now im thinking about changing tons of stuff on it? It’s and endless cycle. Kinda like Donohue talks about in... (see full post)
This is a good starting point for comparing spring and sway bar rates. https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/s197-spring-and-sway-bar-rates.13152/I haven’t used enough different setups to really be able to give a good comparison type of...
Forgot that the newer cars have that. You whippersnappers and your newfangled ESC/TC tuning.I haven't driven a car with them, so I don't know how much difference there is between Sport and Track. Google's AI summary says of Track Mode...

I ran Steeda Sport springs on my 2011 with Koni Oranges for a few years with Steeda camber plates. They were better all around than the stock springs/dampers. The car was composed on the track without being harsh on the street. I wanted to try...

Those rear pads look like a big clue to the instability under braking that you’re reporting in your other thread. 3 of the 4 are down to metal but the 4th appears to have decent material left. I suspect you have a sticking or dragging rear...
How do you like the calimer trans and vengeance clutch combo at high rpm? Is that a single plate with light steel flywheel? I’m looking at a simple exedy right now. I have a calimer stage 1, but my spec stage 2+ springs are cooked and it can’t... (see full post)
