I ran the Roval on Thursday for the first time. It was intense (I had never been on a banked oval like that) a highly recommend it!!
Track - Charlotte Roval (1 chicane on front stretch).
Date - 4/18
Time - 1:31.3
Source - GoPRO
Car - 2012 Boss 302
Tires - Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 (200 tw) - 275/40/18 square
Wheels - Forgestar 18x10
Suspension - Steeda Boss Springs / Camber plates
Engine - Redkey activated / resonators with straight pipes

Video is too large to upload, had a handful of 1:31 and 1:32 laps. Was reaching 155-157 mph range on the back stretch!

If your video is on youtube just paste the short link in your thread and it will automatically show and play. Right click on the video and copy the link.

Easy enough! I had a few other laps that were slightly faster (half sec or so) but they were with a different camera angle which proved to be far too shaky (too much extension used on the go pro mount).

Track: Willow Springs International Raceway
Time: 1:31.379
Car: 2016 GT350, Track Package
Wheels: 19x11+50, Forged, Vibe Motorsports all around
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R, 305/30/19 all around
Suspension: Vorshlag CC plates (-2.7F, -2.1R), FP Lowering Springs

1:31.379 was my fastest of the day. I had so many things to turn on and off between sessions that I never really got everything working together properly on that lap. The best lap I got on video was a 1:31.529 and the best lap I recorded where all of my cameras and external microphone was working was a 1:33.049. This was my first time at WSIR and holllly crap what a high speed and bumpy track. It's the first track that actually scared me a bit because of the speed you carry through turn 8. There were so many places I can gain time but that'll have to wait until next time. I know I can get into the 1:30 range and maybe even down into the 1:29 range on the current setup. I definitely need more camber though because I was wearing the outsides of my tires like crazy. The insides still look untouched.

1:31.529 lap

1:33.049 lap - How do you guys like my 5th-6th shift at Turn 9 to start the video? :D

Wow, your video really does accentuate how bumpy Willow Springs is! Plenty of my friends in Cali and the West mention this is the track that has the greatest pucker factor ---more than Laguna, Sonoma, Buttonwillow, or Thunderhill? So, doesn't sound like your feelings on Turn 8 are unfounded?

Dang TrakRat, not a bad time at Gingerman , but since you are from Wisconsin, I gotta say, with those tiny cheese curd Federals it is even more impressive. I imagine you would be in the 1:30s with some Gouda tires! Sorry could not resist, but seriously thanks for posting and with some competitive rubber you really could be down 3-5 seconds ( depending on what you get?)

Gingerman is a fun track , and you are in a great part of the Country --not too far from Autobahn, Blackhawk Farms, Gingerman , Road America and Brainerd, just to name a few fun tracks.

Now you need to wander down to Hastings , Nebraska for the Mustang Roundup with some of the other Fast Fords from your State. Check out www.racemph.com and look up the event this coming September!

I was happy with that time for a stock car and my first time at that track! I had just picked this thing up 3 weeks prior to gingerman, and did autobahn the weekend before with it. I picked those tiny federals as I knew they would fit, could get them in time for autobahn, and figured cheaper the better as I figured stock suspension would kill them fast! Surprisingly with a little front strut modification I squeaked almost 3 degrees of camber so they are still kicking!
Currently finishing setup on a new set of coilovers and can't wait to go back to gman in a month or two.

Yup there are several fun tracks around here, and I have enjoyed each of them, but I do need to broaden my horizons!

Welcome and I like your style -- 3 weeks and already hitting the track!!!! The best thing going for you was getting logged into to this Forum , as your moniker is virtually everyone's middle name here ( Trackraticus humanus units ). The times will cascade down with high quality rubber , but it is often a good situation to start with less to get to know the machine, and then when one moves up and makes changes they are already adept at the nuances of their vehicle. Keep us posted and keep dropping your videos , as many of us watch them over and over on a rainy day --- yep, it is pouring here. Have to go now , need to watch your Autobahn clip as hope to run there in June or October??

First time running my new setup on Streets of Willow. Going from 3.55 to 3.73 really threw a wrench in it and I am hitting the rev-limiter everywhere. I got some data crawling and re-learning to do.

Constantly have read about the " Streets of Willow," over the years , but never really seen what I would call a solid video of the course and now I can say I have! Thanks for sharing.

Will echo Neema, though, as wondering the thought process behind going to 3.73s?
