It does not. Not even slightly. Very familiar with Kevin and his exploits. My car will never ever see the abuse and exposure that car has experienced. Also, his failure was self induced; heat and physical contact. Total apples and oranges comparison. Thousands of successful miles on a carbon driveshaft, and it’s one of the most impactful, seat of the pants mods I’ve done to a car. That one extreme example does not ruin an industry. Only asking for references on this brand because QA1 seems to be done and I’m not going the DSS route (again).

Don't have one yet (and it will be a while) but Gulf Coast gets respect and kudos from the Explorer ST modding community because they are the first to bring a quality CF driveshaft to this small pool of customers. Gutsy, optimistic, and showing what they can do for a small segment is a story worth sharing.
