Vehicles seem to assigned their VIN/Build Date within a month of its allocation week.

Could you update this order? Would love to get some pix of this when it lands before it's gone. If it follows the same route 'Jeff's' PW Boss took, it should land in Ayer today or tomorrow.

Also, one other question regarding my Q3 order... If the VIN can appear up to 1 month before the build schedule week assignment, and Q3 begins on July 1, should I start requesting updates every Thu starting mid June? Just setting up my calendar entries for June today. =D

Start asking sometime in June for Q3 build dates. Thursday is the day that they seem to get assigned their VIN/build dates.

Thanks Mark. Leave it to the Ford tracking system to spit out a location that can't be found on Google Earth, google, or even bing. "Somewhere in OH" is good enough, it should make it to the dealer June 1-3 is my bet. I will give them a call to see if it's spoken for, then plan accordingly.

I'll start checking my status starting June 7. When it moves from 'Unscheduled - Material Hold' to Unsch. Clean, is that when the VIN is assigned and the build week determined?
