I haven't been able to get my vin yet, the dealer either doesn't have it yet or it has yet to be issued, but supposedly the current status is material hold. Does anyone know what the current material hold is?

If your order is in Material Hold, that means it hasn't been assigned a Scheduled Build Date. And it will not get a Scheduled Build Date until it gets within about 3-4 weeks before your dealers Allocation Week. And, it will not get a VIN until it gets scheduled. If you want me to check and see if your dealer has placed your order, I will need your Dealer Code number and Order number from the DORA.

Wow. So theoretically it could go into production on the 21st and be at my dealer in New York on the 30th? Is that even realistic.

Your best bet is with the dealer. JMB is accessing the status of builds. I only say this because I've asked the same question of him and Deysha on TMS.
