2013 Boss 302 Build Schedule ?

After nearly two months my dealer finally provided me with meaningful info on my SBY LS order (Dealer: F52056, Order: 2744). They explained that my allocation would not be released until they sell the Black LS (5k ADM) they have in stock or the end of the Q3. Which ever come first…

This made me concerned that something might happen to my order so I decided to purchase SBY LS #46 that was in stock at another local dealer. I’m very happy with my decision but wonder why #46 hit the dealership so late for its production number. Is there a way to check its history?

VIN numbers are assigned to a car before they are built, not as they come off the line. Your car is the 46th Mustang in MY 2013 to get assigned its VIN. It's Build Date just happens to be May 3rd

1ZVBP8CU4D5200046 (you missed a 0) - I believe the first 50 LS's were ordered by Ford and then distributed (by lottery?) to dealers. Ordered by Ford on Jan 20th. Recieved it's VIN/Build Week (Mar 26th) on Jan 20th. After several updates, Produced on May 3rd. Shipped on May 31st. Delivered to dealer on June 11th. Sold on June 30th.

Fijidan, When did you order you Boss? My dealer # is F23044 and order @ M190 so I am assuming your dealer is close to me. I ordered on May 5th and I am in Nashville, TN

Yeah I am from Nashville. I ordered the car from Two Rivers on May 19th. Seems like forever ago. I still haven't heard a word, and I can't seem to get an answer on what quarter the car is. Where did you order yours, and what color did ya go with?

I went with the PW. Love the contrast of the black rims/stripes with the white paint.
Dickson has a PW sitting on the floor right now, but I already put an order in at Two Rivers.
Hopefully something will happen soon with both of our cars, for our sake.

Mark, hate to bother you again... even though the date changed it still says ramp 51 and the old ETA date. Has it actually left Michigan? Also, another guy posted how to track while on the train. How do you get the load numbers, etc to do this. Thanks again for your help.

Based on the above, your Boss is still in Michigan. It is now in the Melvindale rail yard.

Ford has a tracking system that tracks a vehicle from the day it's ordered to the day it's sold to the customer. That's what I look at.

Thanks for the update. Hoping that ramp 58 is a little closer to North Carolina than ramp 51. I was beginning to think it took up permanent residency at ramp 51.

I see dgc76 finally got his his car, congrats. Dealers says mine will hopefully be in this week. One more update on 1ZVBP8CU2D5228170 please.

When your Boss is within about 3 to 4 weeks of its allocation week, then it will be assigned it's VIN/Build Date.

13boss3oh2 - Later dates and VIN's have nothing to do with shipping. Your Boss has left AAI and is in the Melvindale, MI, Norfolk Southern rail yard. The ETA to your dealer is July 17th.
