Mine ended up how the middle diagram on acceptable looked. Personally I wasn’t thrilled with it but it was quiet. I believe I ended up at about .023 on my pinion just under what my stock was. Issue I ended up having on mine was it was preloaded a hair too much like .002 over if I remember correctly gave me hell trying to get it to pattern correctly. Ford performance 3.73 and Timken bearing. As quite as I can get the true trac for now several autocross days under it now with no issues.

Like I said I wasn’t thrilled with the outcome either but it’s quite. Ford gears 3.73

that’s super interesting. I’ll have to try to see if the middle pattern is quiet for my gear set.
