I keep reading that the Yokohama’s run large compared to other tire brands. Would the 295/30 18 be more appropriate for autocross? I see that the 295s have a 11” tread width.
I’m concerned that the 315’s would be pinched on the 18x11 rims.
This is for a 2008 Mustang GT
They do run very wide. Here is a 295/11 and 315/12 A052 combo my ZL1 1LE friend is running in SS; he said they’re fairly square, but could probably use another 0.5” for each (meaning a 315/11 combo is going to be pinched):
