Raining in Ct as I type, this early Thursday AM..........First rain in months!!!!!!!!!!!! No red flag warnings today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe an inch today............I'll take it!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the main rain came thru and now we have residual showers.........I am thankful for any rain we get at this point.................

Well. I'm waiting for the morning paper to dry out..it was delivered in a plastic bag, tied but that rain managed to creep in anyway............I'm NOT complaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...only waiting. for it to dry out.........

Hey it's 3:13 AM .................Where is everybody????????????????............I know,............. Where I should be..................sleeping...........Retirement throws you curves now and then sometimes when a"normal " timetable isn't working...............I rather punch this clock than a time clock any day of the week!!!!!!!!!!.............stick that overtime over the moon!!!!!!!!!!!! I 'm done ..I'm my own Boss now, with the one in the garage and the one snoring close by..........I'm the king of my castle Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!... I think Hon just woke up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Our much needed rain has let up with showers for the rest of the day..........now wind and cold 40's have taken over...........where are those sunny 60's I had last week?????????????....Those yrs in my joyous 30's must be in the same place............Laugh and you laugh in a crowd.........moan and you do it all alone.............I try to stay neutral.........that's not that easy...........

Son just got me and Hon a new Shed after he demolished the one me and my father built in 1996............ with a sledgehammer..........The new shed is roomy and cozy and unlike the old shed...........waterproof!!!!!!............Almost perfect for a class reunion of the TMO class of 2011............you know who you are!!!!!!!!!..........Tickets will go fast RSVP a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYOB ....... I know how thirsty a Mustang owner can get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............I AM ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving coming up next week......I already got a game plan menu started..........did you catch the game plan reference???????????....I think there's 4 NFL games playing on thanksgiving....I remember when there was only two...........Dallas and Detroit?????????????.............No Turkey this year!!!!!!!!!!!!..........Son's Vegan now and Me and Hon ain't gonna wrestle with a big bird anymore...............Shake n bake chicken breasts Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes..Stove top stuffing with Heinz turkey Gravy and of course pumpkin pie for dessert..........I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....I miss making my turnips, but that was a lot of work and only I enjoyed them but it was worth it once a year.................

I got a letter from my Dentist's office today.He's finally going to retire.........He's been my Dentist since I was 13 and he was 26...........I'll save you from doing the math.......He's 82 now....He's lined up a replacement.........a 31 yr old..................younger than my son...........this may take some getting used to.........................................

Bought a pumpkin pie today for Thanksgiving and found out Hon got a sweet potato pie a day before that.............this is the double trouble you don't mind getting in.............
