Nature's calling got me up at this time of the morning (3:42 AM), but other than that I'm also excited about Thanksgiving arriving very soon!......It doesn't have as much importance to me as it once did because the family I celebrated with is gone now, but I still have the family I have so not all is lost, plus there's the great meal I'll enjoy and all that football, don't remind Hon about that, PLEASE!!!!!...............and don't forget those leftovers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you're watching Black Friday football..............Hon, don't worry, we don't have Prime...............Have a Great "Sansgiving" in advance If I don't mention it again...................

"TODAY IN HISTORY"....November 27, 1924....Macy's first Thanksgiving Day parade took place in New York city".............long before the black Friday frenzy came on board....Did Santa ever realize what He was ushering in back then???????????????...............................Set your alarm clocks boys and girls......................THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!....I'm just so glad Hon doesn't fall for this black Friday madness and that we don't have a joint credit card acct!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black Friday ----- just another day at our house since I have been married 47 years to a young lady who lets me buy tires and stuff and actually suggested I start racing. She could see the passion I had, or she just wanted me out of the house, but either way she has never gone shopping on " Black Friday " and I can guarantee she won't this year either --- she just had a hip replaced on Tuesday so she will be homebound for sure, ha!

JeffV8, and the pictures tell the story why you are a happy camper in the Winter, you have plenty of stuff to build , repair, maintain and just plain get your hands dirty on. Have a fun next 3-4 months!

What's the engine in the Anglia? Small block Chebby? Good choice if it is, so much stuff available for those engines. I don't know them well enough to be able to tell from the picture what it is.
Exhaust port spacing is usually the easiest identifier on the older small-blocks, especially if the distributor isn’t installed. Evenly spaced ports for the Fords, and the Chevys have the 2 center ports closer together. So based on the 331 stroker, I would guess this a Ford 302 block.

It was supposed to be a 350 chebby but I couldn’t put a chebby in my Ford lol. The 302 block and stroker kit are at the machine shop as I type. This pic was before I bought the 302. Don’t get me wrong I like Chevy but I am more a Ford guy. IMG_5934.jpeg

You do realize , JeffV8, that only those in the Midwest , New England, Canada, etc. understand how 57 degrees is warm enough to work in, ha!!

I think our good buddy in Central Florida, BS1, would likely be saying, " I can't work in Jeff's garage, my mittens and snow parka keep getting caught on things!"

Breaking News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......Son took Hon to the mall Sunday to the Verizon store that his friend manages.......... She walked out with a brand new sparkling Iphone 16 Pro.......state of the art phone.....She still has to learn how to use it but this is a major advance in our stone age phone technology that may trickle down to me in the future..........only time will tell and it's still pretty quiet right now...........The old dog may learn a few new tricks after all..................
