Well January is coming to an end in a few days........It's been cold, especially the last few weeks, but we haven't had any major snow issues yet........February may bring that to the table....I hope not!!!!!!!!.......I'll never forget the blizzard we had here in February 1978...........it was bad..........I remember going to work that morning, it hadn't starting snowing yet, so how could I justify staying home?...............BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By 9AM the snow had started and was coming down at a good clip.I figured I'd leave work at 11:00, stop by my parent's house to put chains on my tires and zip home.............NOT EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left my parent's house by 12:00 and the snow was coming down very hard, maybe 1 to 2 inches an hr hard or harder.It's usually a 15 min ride home from my parent's house, but on that day I didn't reach home til after 7 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........Yeah, I had chains on but nobody else did so streets and even the highway I was on starting getting clogged with stalled out cars.........my windshield wipers couldn't keep up with the heavy snow coming down.....I was starting to worry if I would even make it home........daytime was starting to turn into night time............after taking detours down unplowed/ unclogged streets that other drivers didn't dare try to use I finally made it to my home street and made it home with a chain breaking off as I limped my way the last few feet to home sweet home....................others weren't as fortunate as me and were trapped in their cars until help could arrive...............what a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeastern_United_States_blizzard_of_1978

Man, Did I make a BIG mistake mentioning January was pretty quiet as far as snow was concerned..........February has taken over with a vengeance!!!!!!!!!!!.....We had a storm into last Sunday........3" snow.......A snow/ice/rain storm into Thursday....an inch of snow and you count the ice............More snow starting Sat nite into Sunday..."Winter Storm warning" 4"-8" snow and another snow event coming on Tuesday Nite and another after that......................I know February is notorious for being a winter devil.....( please read my above post)...But I pray for an early spring where the snow disappears and me and my Boss can reappear..............I'm sure others have the same prayer as me................

Last nite Hon came down excited about a new show she discovered (new to her) on WETV....SWAT....She insisted that I watch it with her.................lo and behold it turned out to be an all nite marathon of SWAT.........One episode had a song in it that was eeriely something I heard before somewhere..............It bothered me that I couldn't place it but it all came back to me...............

And down here it has warmed up but tornados last night. Not sure which is worse.

I think I would rather deal with a snow storm than a tornado..........even tho they are messy and dangerous, they aren't as violent and deadly as a tornado............

A Boss flying at "High" altitude can be dangerous also,..........Good thing me and my Boss are always at ground level................warp speed is a whole different agenda.........

Hon gave me a haircut yesterday...........LONG overdue, my last haircut was July 2024!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I stopped going to my barber of over 25yrs when Covid started because I refused to wear a mask for a haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!............I'm at least 20lbs lighter now and look 10 yrs younger.........it's amazing what a little shape up will do............The Boss needs a little clean up too.....looks like that may have to wait a few more weeks.......I never knew how I could miss summer so much............................I'll even settle for an early Spring!!!!!!!!!!!...........4-8 inches of snow tonight...........

I've seen that as I get older my memory isn't as good as it used to be.......maybe those ads on TV may help, but I don't think I'm quite there yet..........I did have an episode recently where I wanted to remember A person's name and I couldn't bring it up.....but it did come to me after a while of struggling with it.............Oh Boy, Those golden yrs surely start moving in, don't they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................My golden yrs were in my 20's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............You Boys know what I'm talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Son by minutes ago.............Taking the Boss out to the gym, before the next snow storm starts later today..........I hate winter more than i ever did or can remember....Prevagen may be starting to sink in................after all..........................
