I don't want to see it go away as I have had plenty of times where one could run on track late , or get in some extra runs at an autocross ---- Daylight Savings Time is perfect for many of us who track/autocross imho!

Bill, I like those lazy, crazy, hazy, long days of summer also........If "they" decide to leave the time as Daylight Saving Time it would be a win win for a lot of folks...........I don't care which time "they" decide to keep as long as I don't have to play change the clocks twice a year!............It's been proven to mess with your body rhythm clock..................

Happy Glorious Friday to everybody....TGIF to all those going in today...........I'm thankful to see another day......today's the 3 yr anniversary of my heart attack back in 2022...the last day of February went out with a bang that day, that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!..........anyway, I'm still breathing and I'm still typing here, and I may take out #1886 later and blast this song....

Hell no once salt is put on the road my Mustang stays in its climate controlled stable well into April and lots of rain..

Mine goes on the lift in the garage early in November and won't come back out until the week before the first track day in spring. 60 treadwear tires have no business being in the cold, among other things. This year has been an absolute bear of a winter, we are just buried in snow.
It's Canada, we're used to winter, but this one has been one to remember. Or better, to forget.

I think most Trackrats or even Trackmice are attuned to putting their machines away in the Cold Weather areas as the salt on the roads is bad, but I hate the calcium chloride even more ---- it is such an awful coating underside and above. The cars with gumballs stay inside where it is nice and warm just like JDee and JeffV8 wisely mention!
