Anybody notice some of the of the NASCAR cup races aren't being televised on free TV anymore............They are even going to have a race from Mexico this year....The NFL started the same thing,,years ago broadcasting games from all over Europe .....I couldn't even watch the Coke Cola 600 Memorial Day WEEKEND race, usually on FOX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....I hope NASCAR enjoys all their new fans....................they surly have lost me...............NASCAR has gone corporate....money/greed does ALL the talkin now adays................................................................................................................................

Saw another high school classmate of mine in the obituaries today................seems like I was just in high school, but that was OVER 50 yrs ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............Those were the days, My Friend, those were the days........................................

Sunshine of you love was so popular back then that it was often used in cheerleader routines. I mentioned this to my wife a few months back when it they played the song on the Classics channel while we were driving to Des Moines. She laughed and said she cheered to the song in both High School and later in College ---- and yes I married a Cheerleader, ha!!

Nothin related to the boss or racin...........just a blah kind of day..went to store for a couple things..........$72.00 later came home with a couple of things...........I can't believe the difference of attitude I feel when I drive the Boss or the truck...............Giddy up sums it up for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....You Boys may take your"chariots" for granted when you're racing but I cherish my Boss EVERY time a slide into that seat and hear it sing....................................

Anybody else notice NASCAR is starting to slip away from free TV telecasts???TIF they want to play the pay per view game, They have lost me as a fan!!!!.... , A Mexico race is on the agenda neat year. It seems the U.S.fan base doesn't float their boat anymore..............It seems The NFL is doing the same thing

Up here in the frozen north xfinity is pay to watch. Nine bucks a month, so not too big a bite, but still a PITA cash grab. The broadcaster doesn't even carry trucks.

Cup is still free, for now. Advertisers look for audience numbers and up here Cup is the only series that can carry the freight in that respect.

I can see the day when Cup won't be free either, the youth of the world largely don't give a rats ass about cars and racing it would seem.

Here , just 60 miles from the "Land of Cone Killing Racerats " I still see plenty of younger carnuts whizzing through the cones and talking HP, suspension , and other mods, so I often think the rumor of the death of car enthusiasts to be not as severe as one may suggest. Maybe I am just not as swayed as some as since I heard this concern over and over for 30+ years selling performance machines. The funny thing is even Salesmen stated the death of performance vehicles was over , yet we ended up having decades of the best hot rods ever and today with so many proclaiming the death we end up having 3 performance rides from even Toyota. Hyundai has pocket rocket sedans and Kia has a killer EV sled, and yes they are not the automotive dreams we may have but performance is not dead it is just changing again. I hope Ford pushed the the Mach E farther , and builds even more models of the Mustangs as the years go by, but there are still more folks out there concerned with power, speed and fun than we realize because we need to look inward and realize ----- there have never been that many of us ever, yet we ruled the movement and made manufacturers continue to make halo machines!!!

A strange as it sounds, the Only NASCAR races I can’t see live are those shown for free on network TV. I would have to put up an antenna for the one station that broadcasts near me. Ear being 45 miles away. Amazon prime is something that has paid for itself in reduced shipping and other costs. They show cup now. CW for Xfinity is shown the old fashioned way….just not at my house. To far for a simple antenna, which I would put on my house anyway. Fox sports I have for other viewing already.

What got my blood boiling was when I couldn't watch the Coca Cola 600 Memorial Day weekend................Instead of being on FOX it was on some station I never heard of..........You talk about a pissed off camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Global warning is rearing up its ugly head again here in Ct.We're in the middle of one of the hottest heat waves in recent memory, with the dew point in the mid to upper 70's and the heat index approaching 110 degrees! My poor polaraire fan is working overtime!!!!!!!!!!!.....I heard this tune more than once in recent days....
