The current springs are 600 front, 300 rear (shock mounted so higher rates). I'll order some other springs to play around with. Certainly don't want to drive around the street on 600+ fronts. Watching the car be towed home there was very little articulation. There was more flex in the metal trailer than in my cars front suspension

I'm 500/250 shock mounted also. Not much movement but somehow it manages to push the shock rubbers all the way up so they must be moving.

Same here. Once it's assembled I'll get it weighed and dyno'ed. I'm completely unsure about that, however I borrowed a pair of rear eibach sport line springs while I work on getting the missing hardware for the jrz stuff. The car sits a little over 1" higher than it used to, so at least it's somewhat lighter.

The basic car is all assembled but have some electrical gremlins to deal with:

The dash cluster shows ----- for mileage and a scantool can't communicate with the Pcm for flashing. Some quick googling means either the Pcm isn't powered up or its not able to communicate with the cluster (wiring issue). Also seem to have a pats key issue but I first want to resolve the cluster issue.

The dash also complains of abs fault, advance trac fault, brakes and tpms faults which make me believe that the can bus has an issue that's causing all this. I'm replacing the dash harness as a precaution with a unaltered base model one but hopefully I can track it down to test soon

Put the car down on some street tires, looks alright:

Awesome! Did the new harness fix the other issues?

Edit: Nevermind, saw that it did fix the issue in your other thread.

Congrats on getting it running and nice video. ;D

Drove it some more and the noise is gone, or minimized. I believe it was he water pump and also the noise from the throttle body is very loud compared to stock. This car really wants to fly, doesn't have much in the way of street manners though the biggest source of nvh is a white line trans mount. I may pull it for breakin, especially with The gaprider racing shifter mount

Sounds great and looks great!
Whenever I drive my car on the street there are tons of noises I dont notice on the track.

Nice!

She really turned out Nice, super nice in fact.

Good luck with your shake down runs and your 2016 race season.

302 Hi Pro

The plan is soon!

Today I'm going to try to get the Torsen T2 in, watts link, GT500 brakes and modified rear cover on. Then finish out Monday and Tuesday wiring up the interior telemetry and fire system.

Then its just a matter of accumulating miles, waiting on shock hardware to show up, and retuning the car and one oil change, then the party is on! We're thinking June 3 by the latest.
