Those are good numbers. What braking differences did you observe with the R16/R12 pads?

I’m finishing up my season, and may be done with this car on track for the year. I don’t have exact numbers, but I think I’m at roughly 1600 track miles for the year. For pads I’ve replaced the fronts once and rears once. I replaced the rear rotors once, but I’m thinking now I likely didn’t need to. Front rotors still seem fine. The rears lasted a lot longer than the fronts, and I’ve had zero issues with braking.

One thing I did do was flush the fluid with Castrol SRF and put on braided stainless brake hoses all around. That improved the consistency of pedal feel, especially after I’d run a handful of sessions.
It’s hard for me to give real comparisons between the different pads because I was running the stock pads at my first two events ever on track. The R10/R8 combo were fine, but I was still pretty new to track driving when I switched to the R16/R12, so I think a lot of the improvement in driving and lap times are primarily from additional experience. The R16/R12 work very well for me, but I don’t know how much difference there would be now if I went back to stock or R10/R8.

I use Castrol SRF exclusively and bleed the brakes after every track weekend. I have the stainless front brake lines, but stock rear lines. I couldn’t ever get the stainless rear lines screwed into the hard center section without cross threading the connections. I gave up and just continue with the stock rears.
