Removed the entire dash as one single part. Tomorrow I have to figure out how to remove the heater box, front and rear glass. Already stripped the doors of all glass and window regulators. Side airbags have been removed.

    Man you have been busy.
I guess there will be some GT350 parts for sale at some point to help offset the build.
I give you credit. I could never do that kind of work. However I fully enjoy reading and following your build. ;)

This car started out as a GT 5.0. The prior owner Dean Martin did the R conversion including extensive engine work. It did not start out as an R.

Almost done with the interior stripping. All the glass has to come off next to get ready for the cage. IMG_0444.jpg IMG_0443.jpg

    What hooks are you using?
I have the ford performance front and rear hooks.
Are you able to share what your plans are?
    Coil overs or mag ride?
    Aero?
    Wheel?
    Brake set up?

I’m using Ford Performance tow hooks. Staying with mag ride and standard brakes for now. I’m going with GT4 aero: wing and front splitter. [IMG][IMG]

Not sure on wheels but will probably go with Hoosiers.

I think I’m done cutting body panels off the car. Both foot wells, behind the B pillars and both doors. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I guess I was wrong. Decided to remove the door bars. I just cut them off. I’ll have my body and paint shop remove the spot welds. I tried to drill some out and decided not to continue. Those spot welds are not easy to drill through. [IMG]

Removed the entire cabin wire harness. This had to be disconnected at the rear wheel sensors. Made sure wires were not exposed for cage welding and interior painting. It’s going to be challenging putting all this back together. [IMG]

Looks awesome! Ive been toying with the idea of doing something similar.

I'd love to hear how many hours you have into this project.
