What is the real scoop on the gas motor from Ford? Today in R&T it is a 7.3 for F250 & up. Previous reports were a 7.0 for the F150 & Raptor. Once we have an aluminum block into a Mustang we go.

Hopefully they have a very long range.

One would think a pickup would have the space to add battery capacity. Now that I work 12 hours from the homestead, still not practical. Definately heading in the right direction.

One more step in the evolution of the truck.

I'm waiting for KTM to add range to this https://www.ktm.com/us/e-ride/

It's almost enough battery capacity to haul my fat ass up the mountain by my house (Loma Prieta) with some charge to spare. But not quite.

What's the range and how much has it increased? The instant torque would be awesome riding hills especially at elevation. I once rode upwards of 9,000 ft in Utah and by 250cc two stroke barely had any power.

Electric bikes seem like a good option right now. They will spur interest in cars and trucks soon....I pioneered this many yrs ago when I bought my Son an electric scooter and he and his buddy replaced the headlight or something to blow the fuse or whole electric system and it still sits my shed till this day........

They claim 3.9 KWH or about 1.5 hours of riding time. My use case is lugging my 250+ up 3000 vertical feet and then having a little left over. It's very close, but not quite there.
