So that was it....I'm trading about 200 hp for 140 pounds of weight savings....wish me luck.

As far as the manley's go, it's been confirmed by two engine builders:
The motor died of Oil starvation.
Hard to say at this point, everything was destroyed including the oil pump.Any idea of the cause of the oil starvation?

I got a super trick set of heads/cams to help you on your way....I have the same Manley rods (labeled Livernois). I hope they never look like that pic, but I'm sure someday I'll be pushing the envelope like you... and BOOM. I'll post the pictures as well.
