The nationals are at Laguna Seca sept 14th this year.Where and when?
I'm not real familiar with NASA stuff. Seem like good people though.
A bit out of my area of operations. Besides last year I had the Seprember from hell, only to be topped by the February from hell. The nationals are at Laguna Seca sept 14th this year.
Door 2 door.really nice work, that Albino guy is alright.
You're running class racing, or time trials at the nationals?
Time to stock up on A7s...
345 is a really tall and heavy tire. I’ll probably stay with the 335’s.Hello, I am a Hoosier A7 and I just found a new home for my 345/30/18 size , and there just aren't that many places I can go, so I am excited. Sal, you have to be jumping up even larger to 345s from 335s and Frankie has got to corner like an overgrown Miata with those giant meats. You might find that size on the rear of a Viper, but I imagine you will have them all the way around. What kind of g's does Mr. Stein turn, if I can politely ask?
the 345 is a standard Corvette rear tire in the SCCA.345 is a really tall and heavy tire. I’ll probably stay with the 335’s.
I haven’t really tracked the g loading, it really doesn’t tell me much since the fastest line is often a straighter line and that would show less g loading but be faster so I don’t find it all that useful.
It would be ok for the rear but I don’t know about the front. I’m raising the car 1/2” because the tires are already hitting the tops of the fenders. The 345 is over an inch taller.the 345 is a standard Corvette rear tire in the SCCA.
No, the 345s won't work up front, the vette guys are running a 305 or maybe a 315 up there. It would be ok for the rear but I don’t know about the front. I’m raising the car 1/2” because the tires are already hitting the tops of the fenders. The 345 is over an inch taller.
LOLFind out who your Regional Director is , tell him you have Frankenstang, are defecting from SCCA and you are claiming political asylum. Then advise him to go to TMO to see that you are immensely famous and warn him that some goofy old man in Nebraska will pester him with a petition ( signed by a slew of TMO members along with 750 signatures from 302Bob alone ) to let you run unless he listens to reason.
I was pretty happy with the old engine....I just can't help but wonder what the gains are going to be with this one....any guesses? Anyone?Your going to love the engine!!
