GT350 or Z/28 for $54K

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Which would you buy at that price? Remember most Z/28's had a sticker price of $76K. This guy over on M6G said he bought one in MA for $54K and according to his numbers they don't tie out. I find it hard to believe they are selling for that little. But if it was which would you buy? Or is this total BS?

Make no mistake the Z/28 is a track car that's street legal. The GT350 is a street car that's trackable similar to the Boss but hopefully better prepared for the track. I expect the GT350R to be a track car that's street legal like the Z.

$54K looks to be very doable.

Yeah and it's not just the Z...20% off camaros in general. Insane.

Like your post said at the top, Z is a street able track car n 350 is a track able street car...I want a DD

My other points were made on 6g too and nothing against the guy who bought it, he got a great deal...the camaro isn't my cup o tea...

Edit: seems like a fire sale before introducing the sixth gen...maybe detroit? However, I don't remember ford ever having to do that. 20% is huge and I still see some new GT500s close to sticker.

Wow they've only been available since May and they are already giving huge discounts. I guess that says a lot about how many people want street legal track cars. ???

I think the discount pricing is more of a slam against the Camaro and not "street legal race cars" in general. The Camaro has a huge competitor to overcome named Corvette.

Could the decline in value be related to the video of the on track spin of a Z-28 being pressured by a street Boss???

You just never know....LOL ::)
Oh no you're not going to blame the total demise of the Z/28 on me. But if I did have something to do with that it would be ok by me. ;)

Of Course Not......

Blame it on Chevy for making a car which is too limited and not appealing to the masses.
