Was trying to work that out as well. Assume one of the barb quick connects is for a lift pump to fill the surge tank. Twin pumps but also assuming it a primary and reserve pump setup. There appears to be another connection on top that would be a return line from the pressure regulator. Assume they don't run a dead end system. Way too many assumptions, well, educated guesses. That's a crazy setup!! How does the fuel get into the sump tank? Is that sump open on the bottom?
I wanted a 'real' system like that - $$ made me accept the Radium in tank S197 special
I'm with you, except mine was the radium s550 special.I wanted a 'real' system like that - $$ made me accept the Radium in tank S197 special
Did you end up putting a check valve in to keep up the fuel pressure when you turn off the car?I'm with you, except mine was the radium s550 special.
I didn't, but it hasn't been a problem so far. It does have to crank a bit longer but hasn't been an issue. Given its a dead end fuel system it seem to hold fuel as it would have to pull a vacuum for the fuel to fully drain. I could see a return system draining more easily and being a pain to build pressure after a short time.Did you end up putting a check valve in to keep up the fuel pressure when you turn off the car?
