New to this forum, and request an update with my order placed in August. 2016 GT350R VIN:1FATP8JZ1G5520344. I'll speak for everyone, we really appreciate the assistance and your efforts with this subject. It's like pulling teeth with dealers on a relatively simple thing as tracking an order of a car.

JMBBOSS302, What in the crap is going on up there in MI? As of Nov 13 I was told 7-13th Dec AFTER another delay from supposedly no later than 9 Nov. This is the 4th delay in production/delivery of the 350R. :-\ Below is what I was told the 13th from the deal in the same format as your update here.

What in the crap is going on up there in MI?... This is the 4th delay in production/delivery of the 350R.

I was told that there is a "material hold" on GT350Rs due to a shortage of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

It has a lot to do with how many allocations and when your dealers regional Ford rep pulls the order and little to do with when your order was placed. Ask your dealer to ask their rep when they expect your order to be pulled.

Guess it's on a parts hold. Maybe the front splitter ?

They all state material hold until they are pulled. It just means no parts have been pulled for your order not that there's a parts shortage on anything specific.

At this point I hope it's built late as possible so it isn't trailered through the salt. I tried to change it to a R today but that was impossible I was told. So I just added the track pack instead.

The info from your dealer was from the update on November 7th. On November 13th, there was two updates posted. The first one was at 17:43 EST that had a Scheduled to Week (Week -of Dec-07-2015). The second update on November 13th was at 18:09 EST, and that changed the Schedule Build Date to (Nov-25-2015). Now the November 17th update has a Scheduled to Week (Week -of Jan-18-2016). I do not know their schedule process, I just post what I see.

It's in the system. When it gets scheduled to be built depends on the dealers allocation.
