Ideal 6th gear rpm range?

I have been trying to get my average MPGs up a bit and have been making more use of short shifting and 6th gear.

What is lowest RPM 6th should be used at?

So you can figure this out by using your MPG gauge on the dash. The longer and higher the bar stays, the better the mileage (obviously). The engine has good torque down low but to keep the car going, you may end up using more fuel. I'd use the gauge to figure it out.
